WRD Climate Resiliency Plan Workshops
The Water Replenishment District (WRD) is developing a district-wide Climate Resiliency Plan to assess the potential impacts of climate change on facilities and operations. The plan will identify strategies for mitigation and adaptation, serving as a long-term guide to help WRD reduce risk and build resilience across its systems.
To ensure the Climate Resiliency Plan reflects the priorities and goals of the region, WRD invites groundwater pumpers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders across the Central and West Coast Basins to participate. Your input will help shape strategies that protect local groundwater and build climate resilience.
Join us for interactive workshops to:
- Learn about WRD’s Climate Resiliency Plan and its impact on operations and communities.
- Provide feedback on draft strategies for climate adaptation and mitigation.
- Collaborate on solutions that strengthen water resiliency for the region.
