After the recent storms Southern California has experienced, join us for an informative virtual briefing exploring how stormwater becomes a vital local water supply resource for groundwater.

Participants will learn how stormwater is captured by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and conveyed to the Montebello Forebay Spreading Grounds, where it naturally percolates underground, replenishing the groundwater basins managed by the Water Replenishment District.

This briefing is in partnership with the L.A. County Department of Public Works and will walk you through the process and explain why it matters for water security and regional planning.
