WRD embraces the importance and seeks to promote the values and practices of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our workforce, our culture, and our operations. The Gender and Racial Equity Assessment commissioned in late 2021 and approved by the Board of Directors in 2022, provides WRD with a strategic analysis and recommendations to assist the District in moving towards the most inclusive workforce.
The Gender and Racial Equity Assessment findings have been a catalyst to the DEI efforts currently underway at WRD. The Executive Summary provides an overview of those findings and insight into future efforts.
