Eric Owens holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and is a registered professional engineer in California. He is currently the Manager of Engineering and Operations at Water Replenishment District (WRD) and oversees two advanced water treatment plants and a groundwater desalter.
Eric began his career in the private sector, where he spent 14 years providing consulting services to municipalities using advanced water treatment technologies. He has been in the public sector for 8 years, having worked at both West Basin Municipal Water District and WRD during that time.
