
Sergio Calderon Elected to the Division 4 of the Water Replenishment District of Southern California in November of 2006, Director Calderon is now serving his second term.
Division 4 includes the cities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Huntington Park, Maywood, Montebello South Gate and Vernon. Division 4, also includes portions of Downey, Los Angeles, Monterrey Park as well as unincorporated areas of East Los Angeles, Walnut Park, Florence Firestone and Belvedere.
A strong supporter of our Water Independence Network, WIN, Director Calderon believes that through sound stewardship and innovative measures the region can grow to be independent from imported water for Basin re-charge.
Director Calderon works for the Los Angeles Unified School District, Division of Adult and Career Education and Teachers in Adult Schools located in Division 4.
Director Calderon attended Heliotrope Elementary School, Nimitz Jr. High School, Bell High School, East Los Angeles and Cerritos College, Cal State Long Beach and completed his Teacher Credential Course-work at the University of San Diego.
Director Calderon is also a member of the California Council for Adult Education, Huntington Park/Bell Adult Leadership Advisory Board, and LADWP Association.
Division Four includes the communities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Montebello, Monterey Park, South Gate, and Vernon.
